The site was prone to surface water flooding in the north western corner therefore detailed hydraulic modelling was required to assess the developable area and surface water discharge rates. A planning application was submitted to West Lancs Borough Council in December 2021 for 20 dwellings, including a mixture of one, two and three bedroom dwellings.
