The 10-year commitments from a pharmaceutical company, a mental-health charity, and an electro-mechanical service provider comprise a combined take-up of 12,750 sq.ft.
Two of the deals will see Kingscrown Land & Commercial deliver a turnkey bespoke fitout. The space itself, which has been designed by Warrington based interior architect Standing Space, will include a wellness room, flexible meeting & training facilities, open plan office areas, and a breakout lounge with floor-to-ceiling glazing overlooking the River Wear.
The building, formerly an HMRC office, was purchased unrefurbished and with vacant possession early on in lockdown. The transformation, led by Kingscrown’s in-house asset management team, has been made possible by working closely with designers Standing Space, head contractor Tec Cre8, and agents Knight Frank & Connect Property North East.
